The position blends hands on FPGA and RTL design with advanced digital signal processing, supporting the full lifecycle from early research and proof of concept through production deployment in a collaborative, R and D focused environment.
Responsibilities/skills:
• Design and implement FPGA-based solutions for real-time, centimeter-level micro-location systems
• Develop advanced DSP and IQ radio processing algorithms for high-precision positioning
• Optimize FPGA resource usage for high-speed interfaces and precision timing
• Collaborate with hardware, software, RF, and product teams to advance micro-location technology
• Research emerging signal processing and localization technologies
• Prototype and productionize cutting-edge concepts
• Take concepts from proof-of-concept through production
• Own projects end-to-end while seeking feedback
Qualifications:
• 5-7+ years of professional FPGA experience
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees preferred but not required
• Strong FPGA/ASIC design and RTL implementation experience
• Expertise in DSP algorithms (FFT, filtering, modulation/demodulation) and IQ processing
• Proficient with FPGA tools (Vivado) and version control (Git)
• Experience with error correction, MIMO, or beamforming is a plus
• Thrive in fast-paced R&D with ambiguous challenges
• Communicate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams
