Job Roles:

 Job Responsibilities:

The position is dedicated to the technical leadership to the team manufacturing engineering and automation teams.  The position is additionally responsible for the technical support of manufacturing focused on providing a consistent product that meets customer specifications with additional responsibilities including, but not limited to: 

  • Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing and automation engineers.
  • Set engineering priorities in alignment with production, quality, and business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Production, Supply Chain) to resolve technical issues.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize casting processes.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations or yield issues.
  • Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce scrap and improve throughput.
  • Identify and implement new technologies (e.g., additive manufacturing for cores/tooling, AI in process monitoring).
  • Evaluate equipment upgrades and automation opportunities to improve process control and efficiency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a related manufacturing engineering function.
