  • Coordinate technical staff to support and execute scrap reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers and technical teams at casting facilities to ensure alignment and share best practices.
  • Interface with engine manufacturer engineering teams to optimize core design and manufacturing producibility.
  • Develop a strategic engineering organizational structure in partnership with Plant Manager, HR, and Process Engineering Manager.
  • Drive engagement, development, and performance of the engineering team.
  • Implement and manage training and professional development strategies for engineering staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership or management.
  • Strong understanding of financial data and budgeting.
  • Experience in the casting industry, preferably investment casting.
  • Knowledge of customer specifications, metallurgical processes, and quality systems related to casting.
