Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support installation and commissioning of material handling systems.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in designing, programing, and commissioning of control systems for material handling equipment and automated solutions
• Provide on-site installation support and system commissioning at client facilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues during startup and ongoing operations
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of control system solutions
• Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation
• Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams
• Maintain and update control system documentation and drawings
• Interface with clients to understand requirements and provide technical expertise

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in controls engineering with material handling systems
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley or equivalent platforms)
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols and networking
• Knowledge of motor controls, variable frequency drives, and power distribution
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for project work
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Manage and reporting of installations and commissioning

Travel Requirements:

• 50% travel required
• Travel primarily for installation, commissioning, and support activities
