Description

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Metro Detroit area. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary group to develop high-performing, user-focused building systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a variety of project types and contribute to meaningful work within a creative studio setting.

• Design electrical systems including low and medium voltage power distribution, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, and emergency systems
• Evaluate existing building systems for potential reuse, updates, or replacement
• Perform electrical load calculations and develop riser diagrams and panel schedules
• Prepare lighting simulations, photometric plans, and related calculations
• Create and review detailed electrical construction documents using Revit
• Support project cost estimating and budget reviews
• Provide technical support and innovative solutions to project teams
• Participate in code compliance reviews and provide technical oversight at key project stages

• 0–5 years of professional experience
• Strong communication, technical, and organizational skills
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards preferred
• Passing of the FE exam or ability to complete it preferred
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD strongly preferred
• Experience in load calculations and system sizing is a plus
• Knowledge of lighting simulation software is a plus
