Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Designer for a position located in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The Designer manages utility service design projects from initiation through billing.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have previous customer service, construction, or technical coordination experience.

• Review assigned customer notifications in SAP.
• Communicate with customers to gather project requirements and necessary information.
• Complete utility design work using Smallworld GIS.
• Create and manage work orders in SAP.
• Coordinate with work coordinators and field crews to schedule work.
• Provide support and answer field questions during project execution.
• Review completed work and as-built diagrams for accuracy.
• Calculate billable amounts based on completed work.
• Generate invoices and finalize project billing.
• Respond to customer questions regarding billing.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and meeting deadlines.

• Previous customer service, construction, or technical coordination experience.
• Familiarity with GIS or AutoCAD.
• Utility industry experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
