Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Technician for a position located in Henderson, Colorado. The Technician will support the Communications and Control Engineering Group primarily as a field resource responsible for checking settings, communications, and controllers or distribution devices.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 2+ years of relevant experience in communications, IT, or electrical troubleshooting.

• Check and verify settings, communications, controllers, and distribution devices.
• Perform work related to battery storage systems, including program verification and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and update equipment databases.
• Coordinate with engineers and technical services staff to ensure device functionality and communication integrity.
• Travel to assigned field locations to install communication equipment.
• Verify programming, update communications, and troubleshoot system issues in the field.
• Provide remote support to engineers as needed.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in communications, IT, or electrical troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge (firewalls, connectivity, Ethernet).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with database updates and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles or distribution systems.
• Experience with reclosers or capacitor banks is a plus.
• Prior utility or telecommunications installation experience is preferred.
