Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Structural Engineer for a position located near Menomonie, Wisconsin. The Structural Engineer will support multi-year hydroelectric facility projects, including dam reconstruction and upgrades.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 5–7 years of structural engineering experience.

• Lead and oversee heavy structural steel and reinforced concrete work, including staged in-water installations.
• Coordinate with and ensure compliance on projects regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
• Serve as the on-site technical liaison, resolving field issues and ensuring construction quality and adherence to design specifications.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (or related field).
• 5–7 years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong experience in heavy structural engineering, including concrete and steel design and construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with extensive experience using SharePoint.
• Ability to open and review native CAD files (MicroStation preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Previous experience working with hydroelectric facilities, dams, or in-water construction projects.
• Experience with FERC-regulated projects preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (FE) certification is a plus.
