Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Technician for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Technician will support the Communications and Control Engineering Group primarily as a field resource responsible for checking settings, communications, and controllers or distribution devices.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 2+ years of experience in communications, IT, or electrical troubleshooting

• Verify and maintain settings, communications, and controllers for distribution devices, including battery storage systems.
• Perform program verification, troubleshooting, and database maintenance for communication and control equipment.
• Travel from the designated service center to assigned field locations to perform updates, resolve issues, and support engineers remotely.
• Document field activities, findings, and resolutions to ensure accurate project tracking and reporting.

• 2+ years of experience in communications, IT, or electrical troubleshooting (including telecom, network support, or panel wiring backgrounds).
• Basic understanding of electrical or distribution systems.
• Prior experience with utilities or telecom installations is nice to have.
• Familiarity with reclosers or capacitor banks is preferred.
• Network configuration experience is nice to have.
• Knowledge of networking (firewalls, connectivity, Ethernet).
• Experience with database updates and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access preferred).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in field environments.
