Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for an Industrial Engineering Technician for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Industrial Engineering Technician supports and maintains essential systems across Colorado, including SCADA, DSL circuits, and fiber optics, to ensure the reliability of the electrical grid.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate must have 5-7 years of experience with a prior telecommunications/voice/data background.

Industrial Engineering Technician Responsibilities:  

• Utilize ServiceNow to receive, prioritize, and respond to daily service tickets.
• Conduct fieldwork at substations and remote sites with attention to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Perform troubleshooting, testing, and installation of communication and networking equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, fire-rating systems, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain documentation and asset tracking within SAP or other company systems.
• Work independently while contributing to a larger team of technicians.
• Communicate effectively with leads and team members to support overall network operations.

• 5-7 years of field technical experience with a prior telecommunications/voice/data background.
• Experience with Level II and Level III networking concepts, with exposure to Sienna and Nokia network systems.
• Proficient in identifying and working with different cabling types, including Cat 5/6 and fiber optics.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow.
• BICSI, Nokia, or Cisco certifications are preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
