Job Description
One Tech Engineering is searching for a Data Analyst for a position located in Denver, Colorado; Amarillo, Texas; or Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Data Analyst will manage identity data sourced from SailPoint and CyberArk, including user accounts, application-level access, and entitlements across various systems.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should 8–10 years of professional experience in audit assurance, risk management, or compliance roles, with a strong understanding of SOX requirements.
Data Analyst Responsibilities: - Support access governance by configuring and launching access reviews in SailPoint 8.4, managing over 10,000 entitlements, and tracking approval workflows.
- Conduct quarterly access certifications and ensure timely completion in line with compliance requirements.
- Analyze evidence from 19 SOX-regulated applications to evaluate the effectiveness of access controls.
- Gain and apply working knowledge of key regulatory frameworks including SOX, CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) for the electric grid, FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission), and TSA (Transportation Security Administration) controls related to Homeland Security.
- Perform comprehensive data collection, validation, cleansing, and analysis from diverse sources including databases, manual inputs, and external platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures to support data operations and reporting needs.
- Produce scheduled and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support compliance and operational teams.
- Respond to data-related inquiries and compliance questions from internal stakeholders with a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Document and maintain data reporting requirements, processes, and validation steps to ensure data integrity and transparency.
- Proactively improve and innovate data management and compliance processes, identifying automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Follow up on annual CIP training compliance and contribute to broader control improvement initiatives.
Requirements of the Data Analyst:
- 8–10 years of professional experience in audit assurance, risk management, or compliance roles, with a strong understanding of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements.
- Previous experience in Compliance Analyst, IAM Consultant, IAM Engineer, or similar security-focused roles.
- Proven expertise in data analysis and handling, with fluency in Microsoft Excel (expert level), and strong capabilities in SQL and Business Objects.
- Experience with SailPoint or other Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools is highly preferred.
- Background in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or utilities is preferred.
- Proficient in working with relational databases and familiar with query tools and/or statistical software.
- Strong knowledge and experience in security, identity and access management (IAM), and data governance.
- Relevant certifications in audit, compliance, or risk management (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP, etc.) are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to new reporting and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
