One Tech Engineering is searching for a Material Coordinator for a position located in Amarillo, Texas. The Material Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day work activities for field crews involved in substation operations and maintenance

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, and 1-3 years of operational experience.

Material Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Manage a blend of operations and maintenance work, oversee the preventative maintenance program, and support field engineering capital projects for substations.
• Coordinate day-to-day work activities, order and track materials, dispatch daily tasks, and ensure outages are scheduled for necessary work.
• Collaborate with Operations managers to ensure schedules are on track and meet project requirements.
• Conduct the daily Plan of the Day (POD) with the field manager.
• Manage email and text correspondence, create call-out work orders, and plan for the upcoming weeks.
• Adjust schedules as necessary, submit PR requests for material orders, and address requests from other departments throughout the day.

Requirements of the Material Coordinator:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of operational experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous experience with SAP, scheduling tools, or project management software is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
