Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for an E&C Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The E&C Engineer will be responsible for managing base capital project from cradle to grave.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5-7 years of project management experience.

E&C Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Defining the project scope and justifying the need for the project.
  • Estimating the costs associated with the project.
  • Developing detailed project plans.
  • Managing the procurement process for necessary goods and services.
  • Coordinating construction activities and providing oversight.
  • Ensuring the project is properly commissioned and turned over to operations.
  • Finalizing all project activities and closing out the project.
  • Ensuring construction activities are properly coordinated.
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Making necessary updates to project drawings.
  • Involved in accruals and forecasting to maintain the project budget.
  • Handling administrative tasks related to the project.
  • Working collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Engaging with plant reliability engineers, operations managers, and other plant staff to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements of the E&C Engineer:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, electrical, or industrial engineering is required.
  • 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably in industrial facilities such as power generation, oil and gas, or petrochemical refining.
  • Previous construction project management experience.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage project documentation, timelines, and budgets.
  • PMP certification is nice to have.
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required for travel to various plant locations.
