Job Description
One Tech Engineering is searching for an E&C Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The E&C Engineer will be responsible for managing base capital project from cradle to grave.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5-7 years of project management experience.
E&C Engineer Responsibilities:- Defining the project scope and justifying the need for the project.
- Estimating the costs associated with the project.
- Developing detailed project plans.
- Managing the procurement process for necessary goods and services.
- Coordinating construction activities and providing oversight.
- Ensuring the project is properly commissioned and turned over to operations.
- Finalizing all project activities and closing out the project.
- Ensuring construction activities are properly coordinated.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Making necessary updates to project drawings.
- Involved in accruals and forecasting to maintain the project budget.
- Handling administrative tasks related to the project.
- Working collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Engaging with plant reliability engineers, operations managers, and other plant staff to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements of the E&C Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, electrical, or industrial engineering is required.
- 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably in industrial facilities such as power generation, oil and gas, or petrochemical refining.
- Previous construction project management experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage project documentation, timelines, and budgets.
- PMP certification is nice to have.
- A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required for travel to various plant locations.
