Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for an E&C Engineer for a position located in either Denver, Colorado or Pueblo, Colorado. The E&C Engineer will be overseeing and contributing to large scale solar projects.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 5-7 years of civil engineering experience with 2 to 3 years in the renewable generation project space.

• Provide civil expertise, focusing on evaluating project drawings and handling requests for information (RFIs) across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with other engineers and project stakeholders to ensure all requirements are clearly outlined.
• Review technical documentation to confirm that everything aligns with the project specifications and requirements.
• Assist contractors by answering questions related to design or construction processes and troubleshooting on-site issues.
• Serve as the organization's technical expert on projects, maintaining strong contacts with internal and external units for action on technical matters.
• Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
• May lead multiple critical and/or complex projects.

• 5-7 years of civil engineering experience, with 2-3 years specifically in the renewable generation project space (construction or engineering design).
• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution, or equivalent/commensurate experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent analytical thinking skills to resolve questions, troubleshoot design conflicts, etc.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), RFIs (Requests for Information), and the ability to understand and manage contract scope.
