Job Description
One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Manager for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Project Manager will lead multiple efforts to reduce costs by managing several different on-going projects on a complex water treatment system.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 5-7 years of strong project management experience with 2-3 years of wastewater treatment experience.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Work closely with engineering firms to evaluate and finalize the specifications for various technologies, such as brine concentrators, mechanical evaporators, and electric boilers.
- Engage with the operations team to understand the facility's daily functions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
- Devise and execute a sustainable solution for remediating the excess water.
- Regularly visiting the site to gain a thorough understanding of the facility's operations.
- Address operational issues and maintaining clear communication with the site team.
- Assess various technologies to determine the best long-term solution for water remediation.
- Coordinate with engineering firms and managing the contractors to ensure the project stays on track.
- Review and working on specifications, drawings, and other technical documents with the engineering contractors.
- Oversee the work of engineering contractors and any additional contractors involved in the project.
- Being available on-site to address any immediate issues that arise, ensuring quick and effective responses.
- Conducting remote meetings, planning project activities, and coordinating with team members and contractors.
- Preparing reports, updating project documentation, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
- Performing research and analysis related to wastewater treatment technologies and solutions.
Requirements of the Project Manager:
- 5-7 years of strong project management experience with 2-3 years of wastewater treatment experience.
- Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical, civil, or chemical engineering is preferred.
- PMP or PE certification is a nice to have.
- Strong communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
