Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Unifier Developer for a position located in Akron, Ohio. The Unifer Developer will lead application development and implementation on one or more computing platforms.
  
The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience with Oracle Unifier Implementations and Integrations.

Local candidates preferred or open to relocation. This is not a remote position.

Unifier Developer Responsibilities:

• Review solutions analysis and provide input for build or buy recommendations.
• Lead development of program code based on defined requirements.
• Review requirements for application interfaces and conversions.
• Develop system test plans.
• Responsible for all phases of project application development documentation.
• Responsible for following programming and documentation standards and development and project methodology.
• Design, test, deploy and maintain one or more software products
• Collaborate with team members to produce software
• Work with the architecture team to make technical recommendations
• Responsible for defining business needs, application scope and objectives, analysis and solution recommendation, and software implementation.
• Coordinate all phases of system development and implementation including design, coding, testing, documentation, training, and implementation.
• Responsible for application interfaces and data conversion.
• Responsible for ensuring that the team follows program standards, development methodology, and project management techniques.
• Provide analysis of potential solutions and develops input for build or buy recommendations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Unifier Developer:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, any engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years experience with Oracle Unifier Implementations and Integrations.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (Oracle is highly preferred) and creating complex SQL statements.
• Delivery of complex software solutions consistently on time with little to no errors.
• Able to perform IT work or lead a team to perform work.
• Good communication with team and customer.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
