Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Shipping Clerk for a first shift position located in Madison, Wisconsin. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for packing products for shipping, loading/unloading trucks, and operating forklift and pallet moving equipment.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have previous experience in shipping, receiving, and driving forklift.

Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:

• Packing products for shipping
• Loading/unloading trucks
• Operating forklift and pallet moving equipment
• Verifying incoming material against bill of lading
• Creating shipping paperwork
• Coordinating shipping arrangements with customers
• Moving materials to appropriate locations

Requirements of the Shipping Clerk:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3+ years of shipping experience
• Experience driving forklift, preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong work ethic

Physical Demands

• Able to stand for 8 hours in a day.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. with or without accommodations repetitively with a 70-lb. maximum.
