Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Manager for a position located in either Minneapolis, Minnesota, or Lakewood, Colorado. The Project Manager will assist with the development, entry, and review of data structures to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis of financial information, including financial reporting, budget and forecast creation, and variance analysis.
 
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field, with 5 years of relevant experience.
 
Project Manager Responsibilities:  

• Assist with collecting and analyzing financial data inputs in order to create data structures, in order to track financial information.
• Analyze financial data to identify adverse trends and recommend solutions to mitigate financial impact.
• Applies knowledge of financial rules and concepts and company policies and procedures to resolve commonly occurring issues.
• Assist with establishing data structures in support of the annual budget process, as well as support for current year and five-year forecasting.
• Provide timely and accurate assistance to clients within supported business area, including but not limited to interpretation of account codes or financial reports, providing status reports, and work order resolution.
• Participate in or support special projects as assigned.

Requirements of the Project Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field, with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrated skills in analysis, problem-solving, customer service, and relationship building desired.
• Knowledge or experience in utility accounting is nice to have.
• Familiarity with Master Data Online is a plus.
