Job Title: Dental Assistant
Location: Federal Facility, Trenton, NJ

Schedule: Monday–Friday, No Weekends

Position Summary: We’re seeking a dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join a collaborative dental team at a federal healthcare facility in Trenton, New Jersey. You’ll work alongside Dentists, keep treatment rooms prepped and running smoothly, and help every patient feel comfortable and informed. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and the long-term stability of a federal setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Dental Officers chairside during dental procedures and patient care appointments
• Prepare dental instruments, materials, and treatment rooms for daily clinical operations
• Support patient intake, positioning, and comfort throughout procedures
• Take dental radiographs and assist with patient care procedures as directed
• Maintain infection control, sterilization, and cleanliness standards across clinical areas
• Document patient information and maintain accurate, confidential dental records
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Coordinate with clinical staff to keep patient flow and operations efficient

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Dental Assistant experience required
• Graduate of an accredited allied health or Dental Assistant program
• Current Dental Assistant certification and registration preferred
• Knowledge of dental procedures, sterilization, and infection control protocols preferred
