Medical Assistant (MA)

Location: Stafford, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20–24 per hour (DOE)

Overview:
Our medical practice in Stafford is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support our physician with both clinical and front office duties. You will help keep daily operations and patient flow running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient intake, including medical history, vital signs, and chief complaints
• Prepare exam rooms and assist the physician during exams, procedures, and treatments
• Collect and process lab specimens, including phlebotomy, following infection control protocols
• Document encounters, procedures, and orders accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Administer medications as directed by providers
• Arrange follow-up appointments, referrals, and diagnostic testing
• Manage scheduling and check-in to keep the daily clinic schedule on track
• Support front office and business office tasks, and communicate care instructions clearly to patients

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Family practice or outpatient clinical experience preferred
• Phlebotomy experience a plus
• Bilingual a plus
