Medical Receptionist

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with half-day Fridays
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18–21 per hour (DOE)

Overview:
Our medical practice in Las Vegas is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. You will keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and provide a professional, welcoming experience
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments, including follow-up visits and referrals
• Assist patients with check-in and check-out, ensuring required information, forms, and consents are complete
• Review and update registration and insurance information, and verify coverage and eligibility before appointments
• Navigate electronic health record (EHR) systems to access and update patient information
• Request and process medical records by portal, fax, or phone, and review, categorize, and distribute incoming faxes
• Manage incoming calls, route inquiries, and assist patients with portal enrollment
• Provide administrative support to physicians and clinical staff, and maintain an organized, patient-friendly front office

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
• Annual flu vaccine (exemptions per company policy)
• 3 years of experience in a medical office, healthcare reception, or patient access preferred
• Electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
