Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Rochester, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay: $35–40 per hour (DOE)

Overview:
Our medical practice in Rochester is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver safe, high-quality IV infusions and related therapies to adult patients. You will build strong relationships with patients in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform IV insertion and venipuncture for infusion therapies and blood draws with precision and patient comfort in mind
• Administer prescribed medications and infusions, ensuring accurate dosing, proper technique, and adherence to protocols
• Assess patients, including triage of presenting concerns, and determine suitability and readiness for infusion treatment
• Monitor and document vital signs before, during, and after infusions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Educate patients on infusion types and procedures, potential side effects, aftercare instructions, and health promotion
• Maintain aseptic technique and strict infection control practices, including line care and equipment handling
• Document encounters, treatments, and observations accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Recognize and respond to adverse reactions or emergencies, and coordinate further care when necessary

Qualifications:

• Active, current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New York
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Personable, outgoing communicator who can explain the benefits of infusion therapy and encourage ongoing treatment
• Infusion therapy, ambulatory care, or wellness experience preferred
