Radiologic Technologist (RT) – X-Ray

Location: Oak Park, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay: Starting at $35 per hour

Overview:
Our medical practice in Oak Park is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (RT) to perform high-quality X-ray exams. You will support accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray exams, including neuro, body, and general imaging, per physician orders and protocols
• Position and prepare patients to obtain optimal images while ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate and troubleshoot radiologic equipment, reporting any malfunctions
• Apply radiation safety principles, including As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) practices, shielding, and monitoring
• Document procedures and enter imaging data into the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and electronic medical record (EMR)
• Follow infection control protocols, cleaning equipment and exam rooms between patients
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions with empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Minimum 6 months of experience as an X-ray technologist
• Experience in an imaging center or outpatient radiology practice preferred
