Director of Nursing (DON)

Overview:
Our infusion agency in New York is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to step into a high-impact leadership role as Director of Patient Services. This full-time position offers the chance to shape clinical excellence at a recently surveyed, high-performing organization, backed by strong compensation and genuine influence over patient care standards.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Competitive salary: $130,000–150,000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for nursing and patient services across all infusion programs and sites
• Assume RN Coordinator duties and provide coverage as needed
• Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies and practice standards to ensure safe, evidence-based care
• Lead, mentor, and manage nursing leadership and frontline staff, including performance evaluations and workforce planning
• Maintain thorough knowledge of infusion protocols, including medication administration, dosing, and management of infusion-related reactions
• Ensure compliance with NY DOH, CMS, Joint Commission, Licensed Home Care Service Agency regulations, and accreditation requirements
• Collaborate with medical directors, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary partners to coordinate patient care
• Oversee incident reporting, risk assessments, and corrective action plans

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York, or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) for an infusion agency
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NE-BC, CPHQ, or similar) preferred
