Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)

Location: Paris, TX
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay: Starting at $45 per hour

Overview:
Our hospital in Paris is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to perform cardiac stress testing and nuclear imaging. You will be the department’s only technologist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures, with emphasis on cardiac stress tests, following established protocols
• Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals per safety and regulatory guidelines
• Start and manage IV lines for contrast agents and medications related to nuclear imaging
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality
• Assess patients before, during, and after procedures and respond to changes in status
• Record procedure data and maintain accurate patient imaging records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinicians to coordinate scheduling and patient care
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies

Qualifications:

• Active, current Nuclear Medicine Technologist licensure in Texas
• Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• Minimum 2 years of experience, with the ability to work independently
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and cardiology or cardiac imaging experience preferred
