Job Title: Dental Assistant

Position Summary: Bring your chairside skills and patient-first attitude to a professional dental team at a federal healthcare facility in Brooklyn, New York. You’ll work alongside providers during procedures, keep treatment rooms prepped and running smoothly, and help every patient feel comfortable and informed from check-in through post-treatment. This full-time, permanent role offers a predictable Monday–Friday schedule and the long-term stability of a federal setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist providers during dental procedures and patient care appointments
• Prepare treatment rooms and keep them ready for daily clinical operations
• Support patient intake, positioning, and comfort throughout procedures
• Uphold infection control, sterilization, and cleanliness standards across clinical areas
• Document patient information and maintain accurate clinical records
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Coordinate with clinical staff to keep patient flow efficient and assist with administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Dental Assistant experience required
• Graduate of an accredited allied health or Dental Assistant program
• Current Dental Assistant certification and registration preferred
• Knowledge of dental procedures, sterilization, and infection control protocols preferred
