Location: Remote – Must reside in AR, FL, GA, NC, OK, TN, TX, or UT
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (with potential for renewal)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day between 08:00–18:00 CST
Training Schedule: Orientation runs 07:30–16:00 CST (includes 30-min break)
Work Setting: 100% Remote (No on-site, weekend, on-call, or OT work)

Two of the largest sites are 650+ bed, Level II Trauma, teaching hospitals
Thousands of licensed beds and physicians, with a wide range of inpatient case types
We're seeking experienced Inpatient Coders for hospital-based coding across a broad case mix. You’ll work with cutting-edge health information systems in a high-compliance, productivity-driven environment. Ideal candidates are credentialed, self-motivated, and capable of meeting rigorous accuracy and production standards.
Code inpatient encounters with high accuracy and speed:
2.5–2.7 IP charts per hour
Maintain 95% accuracy
Participate in client audits, including a start up phase from lower to higher-complexity charts
Notify leadership of any downtime; make up hours within the same calendar week
Experience:
Certifications (any one of the following):
RHIT, RHIA, CCS, AHIMA, or CPC AAPC
Systems:
EPIC
Optum CAC
Other Requirements:
Must live in AR, FL, GA, NC, OK, TN, TX, or UT
Must disclose any additional employment (dual FT roles not permitted)
PTO for entire 13-week period must be disclosed upon offer
Must sign the Expectations of a Coder agreement
Candidate must provide their own equipment (no client-provided hardware)
Clear, prompt communication is mandatory
Reliability, schedule adherence, and professionalism are non-negotiable
