Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialist to join our team on a remote contract basis. The successful candidate will thoroughly understand medical terminology, coding guidelines, and clinical documentation standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialist
• Maintains a working knowledge of the coding guidelines/principles including: ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and third party billing requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in EMRs and computer skills
