Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of composite utility poles and infrastructure solutions serving the utility and energy markets. They are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to support equipment reliability, skilled trades, production uptime, and continuous improvement at their manufacturing facility in Tilbury, Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Review equipment performance and downtime issues and coordinate repairs
  • Support skilled trades and Production to maintain equipment uptime
  • Generate and coordinate maintenance work orders, scheduling, parts sourcing, and follow-up
  • Assist with equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
  • Coordinate schedules, vacation requests, shift changes, and other administrative needs for skilled trades
  • Coordinate safety work orders, corrective actions, and hazard remediation
  • Manage vendors for facility services and repairs
  • Support shutdown planning, fire system inspections, building repairs, and capital projects
  • Participate in Production and Maintenance meetings, 5S, Lean, Red Tag Events, and JHSC activities
  • Assist with maintenance inventory and stockroom management
  • Serve as backup administrator for the equipment PM/CMMS system
  • Provide basic facility/IT support as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Technical post-secondary diploma or degree
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience coordinating work with skilled trades
  • CMMS experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
