Job Description

Our client is a trusted distributor and solutions provider in the piping and industrial products industry, recognized for delivering reliable products, innovative solutions, and exceptional customer service across the energy, utilities, and infrastructure markets. They are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Grand Prairie, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer orders from entry through delivery, including data entry, inventory/pricing accuracy, order tracking, expediting, returns, and special orders.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person, resolving issues and providing a high level of customer service.
• Prepare, negotiate, and follow up on customer quotes and bid packages while maintaining pricing and profitability guidelines.
• Assist customers with product selection, specifications, companion parts, inventory, and applicable policies.
• Work closely with Outside Sales, Technicians, Rentals, and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information in the ERP system and customer portals.
• Identify opportunities to improve order fulfillment, quoting, and customer support processes.
• Manage multiple priorities, maintain strong attention to detail, and assist other Customer Service Representatives as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in inside sales or a customer-facing role required.
• Retail, distribution, or oil and gas experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, basic Excel, and P-21 or other ERP systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills, including rates, ratios, and percentages.
