Poly Fusion Technician – Midland, TX 

Growing piping solutions company looking for an experienced Poly Fusion Technician to join their team. This is a hands-on field role focused on HDPE/PE pipe fusion for utility, industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects.

• $25-$28/hr depending on experience

• Travel pay, hotel, and $65/day per diem

Responsibilities

• Perform HDPE/PE pipe fusion (butt fusion, electrofusion, saddle fusion)
• Operate fusion equipment (McElroy experience preferred)
• Prepare, align, and inspect pipe joints
• Maintain fusion records and quality documentation
• Support field crews and follow safety procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years HDPE/PE fusion experience
• Hands-on field experience operating fusion equipment
• Strong butt fusion knowledge
• Valid driver’s license + clean MVR
• Comfortable with travel and outdoor work
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Preferred: McElroy machine experience (TracStar, MegaMc, Pit Bull) and utility/pipeline/industrial piping experience.
