The Bilingual Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in La Porte, TX. This role oversees day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. The Human Resources Manager will manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through development, retention, and offboarding. Daily responsibilities include supporting leaders with coaching and workforce planning, administering benefits and leave programs, and maintaining accurate HR records and HRIS data. The role will also involve coordinating training and safety-related programs, assisting with policy development, and leading or supporting HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and HR policy administration.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, HR documentation, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Demonstrated skills in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Track and manage Safety Council credentials, drug testing programs, DISA, DOT/PHMSA, NCCER, and customer-specific onboarding requirements.
  • Ability to design, coordinate, or support training, development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Solid organizational, time-management, and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience in industrial services, manufacturing, or similar environments, with a strong focus on safety, is highly beneficial.
