Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer and service provider of artificial lift technologies and oilfield equipment, supporting energy producers worldwide with innovative products and solutions. They are seeking a Maintenance Lead in the Lufkin, TX area to support manufacturing operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining facility systems. 

Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR, physical, and drug screening as a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Execute scheduled PM activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Assist in developing and improving preventive maintenance programs for production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues and support manufacturing teams in reducing unplanned downtime.
  • Coordinate with production and planning teams regarding scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Work with outside contractors and vendors to obtain services, materials, and repairs as needed.
  • Create purchase requisitions and receive maintenance-related materials within the ERP system.
  • Maintain fixed asset records, maintenance schedules, and work order documentation.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures while performing maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality management system requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or related environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and experience working within ERP or maintenance management systems preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
