Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a manufacturing facility in the greater St. George, Utah area. Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all plant maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance
- Drive equipment reliability, uptime, and maintenance safety initiatives
- Develop, implement, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of complex equipment failures through hands-on technical leadership and root cause analysis
- Collaborate with plant leadership to align maintenance priorities with production schedules and operational goals
- Manage and develop maintenance personnel through coaching, training, performance management, and succession planning
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, asset history, and work order management within the CMMS system
- Support capital projects, equipment installations, and commissioning activities
- Partner with engineering and continuous improvement teams to implement reliability improvements and corrective actions
- Foster a strong culture centered around safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Maintenance Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance leadership experience
- Experience supporting multi-shift manufacturing operations
- Strong working knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls
- Experience utilizing CMMS platforms and maintenance planning systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities with a hands-on leadership approach
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve reliability programs, and drive operational performance
