Our client is a trusted distributor and solutions provider in the piping and industrial products industry. With decades of experience, they are recognized for delivering reliable products, innovative solutions, and exceptional customer service across energy, utilities, and infrastructure markets.
They are currently seeking a dependable and hands-on Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their team on the Northwest side of Houston. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in smaller warehouse environments, industrial supply companies, or “mom-and-pop” style operations where inventory management, communication, and manual processes are key to success.
Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR, physical, and drug screening as a requirement for this position.
Benefits:
- Pay rate: $20–$22/hr depending on experience
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming shipments accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer and delivery orders
- Perform manual inventory tracking and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Assist walk-in customers with order pickup, product inquiries, and customer service
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and customers regarding orders and inventory
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of warehouse, shipping & receiving, or inventory experience
- Forklift experience required; certification is a plus
- Experience working in industrial supply, pipe, plastics, HDPE, construction materials, or similar environments preferred
- Comfortable working in a manual inventory environment (non-RF scanning)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable work ethic with strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely
