Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Hand to support daily operations in our yard and warehouse areas. This role is essential to maintaining organization, safety, and efficiency in the handling of materials, equipment, and deliveries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and move materials, products, and equipment within the yard and warehouse
• Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory and storage areas
• Keep yard clean, safe, and free of debris or hazards
• Operate basic equipment such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issues
• Assist drivers with staging and preparing deliveries
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
• Support warehouse staff with general labor tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or labor role is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work in outdoor conditions
• Basic understanding of safety practices in a yard or warehouse setting
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills

Working Conditions:

• Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• May require early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekend work
