Job Description

Our client is a leading company known for cutting-edge separation technology used in energy, mining, and industrial projects worldwide. They're looking to add a local Field Technician to join their team in Odessa, TX. The Field Service department is accountable for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of solids control equipment on rigs, following the guidance of the area manager.

Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening as a requirement for these positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive monthly inspections of all equipment deployed on rigs within your designated area.
  • Physically assess the condition of all equipment present on rig sites.
  • Propose necessary repair actions when warranted.
  • Actively promote and sell requisite parts for repairs, along with offering to execute the necessary repairs.
  • Accurately input all essential data into the database, encompassing unit numbers (MA numbers), screen frame identifiers, recommended spare components, equipment condition, and accompanying photographs
  • Field service will handle routine service calls daily, unless otherwise directed by area managers.
  • Weeknight service calls will be managed by the designated on-call field service personnel, with exceptions as determined by area management.
  • Foster and nurture productive relationships with crucial rig personnel within the designated operational zone
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory records both in the warehouse and the service vehicle.
  • Prior to departing the warehouse, ensure that all individual parts are accurately recorded in the handheld device.
  • Manage the process of ordering and replenishing warehouse inventory.
  • Coordinate reorder activities in collaboration with the area manager
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned area as required
  • Commitment to safety practices and strict adherence to company policies and procedures regarding safety.
