They are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Business Analyst or Consultant to support the planning and implementation of client solutions. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about expanding their expertise in the oil and gas industry, particularly in midstream operations and technical systems (TIPS), while working on complex, client-facing projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with client personnel and executives, representing both the project and the organization on a daily basis
  • Apply established methodologies and industry best practices to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to gather and document business requirements, processes, and system functionality
  • Facilitate project activities including client meetings, design workshops, user acceptance testing (UAT), and status reporting
  • Perform hands-on business and technical analysis to support project execution and deliverables
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal methodologies and toolkits
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of training materials and user programs
  • Support cross-functional teams as needed, promoting collaboration across multiple project initiatives

Preferred Project Experience

Candidates should have experience supporting one or more of the following:

  • Financial or Operational Accounting
  • Supply Chain or ERP system implementations
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Software selection initiatives
  • Master Data Management
  • Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
  • TIPS (Transportation & Pipeline Systems) implementations or support (strongly preferred)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of consulting experience
  • 4+ years of experience supporting the development or implementation of software systems
  • 4+ years of oil and gas industry experience, with a preference for midstream exposure
  • Functional knowledge in areas such as:
    • Revenue Accounting
    • Production Accounting
    • Well Data & Drilling
    • Land Management
    • Midstream operations
  • Technical experience with TIPS systems is highly desirable; hands-on expertise is prioritized over project management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visio required
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (typically Monday–Thursday) within North America
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; sponsorship is not available at this time
