Our client specializes in oil & gas field automation, helping operators monitor and control wells through reliable instrumentation and remote data systems. They're looking to add a Field Technician to join their team in Houston, TX. This opportunity is a Direct Hire role that comes with several perks including full benefits, paid holidays, and paid time off.

Eligible candidates:

• MUST BE LOCAL TO KATY, TX (within 30 miles)
• Open to travel (about 50% travel)
• Comfortable being on call 24/7

Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening as a requirement for this position.

Field Technician Benefits:

• Travel to wellsite's to install/uninstall Surface Pressure Gauges/well site devices
• Install/Uninstall other digital communications devices for Frac/Flowback/Drillout
• Connect communications package systems
• Perform data downloads and service the equipment
• Deliver/ Install Bottom-Hole Pressure Gauges
• Troubleshoot equipment issues on location
• Input work ticket and job information into database
• Clean/Maintain Equipment
• Record/Maintain service and safety records and requirements

Field Technician Qualifications:

• Values personal development, growth, integrity, service
• Lift and carry 50+ lbs.
• Good driving record and ability
• Pass all safety training and testing (TWIC, Respiratory Protection, Fit testing, ext.)
• Ability to mentally withstand the rigors of working for extended periods as well as extensive travel to the field
• Computer savvy; Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Frac Van Electronics/Data/Etech Experience preferred
• Knowledge of electronics and technology
