Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Process data using Python, PySpark, and Databricks
  • Develop models and dashboards
  • Learn the job while performing hands-on analytics and modeling
  • Help business partners make more profitable decisions based on customer and prospect insights

Working Conditions:

  • Fully remote

Minimum Requirements:

  • 0-3 years of experience in data analysis or related field
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with statistical software and database languages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using data science to improve customer experience and business profitability
  • PhD in a quantitative discipline
  • Proficiency in Python packages such as PySpark, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Matplotlib, and lifelines
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of methods such as frequentist statistics, Bayesian statistics, forecasting, optimization, causal inference, machine learning, and natural language processing
  • Proficiency with version control
  • Experience with reading and writing data in the cloud
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates across functions with strong skills in persuasive and informative speaking
