Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, including the receiving, storing, distribution, and safe handling of orders, equipment, and customer requests in accordance with company standards.
- Monitor KPIs with a focus on open orders, POs, pick tickets, customer satisfaction, and overall operational performance.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to support data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement.
- Resolve escalated customer or operational issues with positive outcomes.
- Lead and direct warehouse staff to maintain accurate records and data integrity through regular cycle counts, optimize stock levels to minimize shortages, and enforce effective inventory control procedures.
- Monitor and report the status and location of assigned company vehicles, forklifts, trailers, and fusion equipment.
- Adhere to standard processes for warehouse organization, space utilization, and inspection schedules, and follow inspection schedules and monitor functionality of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.
- Lead, develop, and support all employees, including warehouse staff, CSRs, technicians, and mechanics.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to employees.
- Maintain communication with corporate leadership to align branch activities with company objectives.
- Manages and assigns available work to Field Techs and Mechanics that are in “Report to Warehouse Status”.
- Oversee Warehouse Supervisor for inventory accuracy, cycle counts, staff coordination, and the scheduling and workload balance for warehouse and service staff.
- Train CSR desk phone and Will Call counter staff to conduct Counter Sales and provide professional service, communicating effectively with customers both in person and by phone.
- Partner with CSRs and sales teams to support customer needs at the branch level.
- Ensure walk-in and will-call customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and community partners.
- Support company initiatives to streamline processes and improve customer engagement.
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), required.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field, preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in warehouse operations, warehouse management, or a similar supervisory role, required.
- Familiar with inventory control systems and best practices.
- Ability to learn and utilize ERP systems.
- Solid understanding of logistics, inventory management, and customer service principles.
