Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join their team in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for delivering assurance services to a diverse client portfolio while executing a comprehensive, risk-based audit approach, leading audit teams during fieldwork, overseeing project execution, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of all deliverables. The Senior Audit Associate also supports clients with non-assurance engagements and provides timely coaching, training, and feedback to junior team members to support their professional development.

Requirements:

• Must have CPA licenses or CPA eligible who is actively studying for exams.
• Must have 4-5 years of public account auditing experience.
• Must have experience with financial statement preparation.
• Greater than basic knowledge of both GAAP and GAAS rules and standards.
• Greater than basic knowledge of financial reporting, transaction cycles and business processes.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills. Will be required to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
• Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
