Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled and driven Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to support their Automation product line with new product introduction projects, product series maintenance and support.
Responsibilities
- Support Automation product line with new product introduction projects, product series maintenance and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop electromechanical systems, products, and components.
- Integrate components into design process, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Providing documentation, including design guidelines, to help with product manufacturing and implementation.
- Research, design, assemble and test prototypes and document all results.
- Assist in analyzing, reviewing, comparing, and proposing rectification on product cost.
- Independently work and coordinate with sales, marketing, operations, production, and manufacturing to provide technical data and product information for prototype manufacturing through to product commercialization.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or at least five years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Proficient with electrical drawings / design
- Good Knowledge of International Codes and Standards
- Experience with AutoCAD and Altium Design Software.
- Knowledge on Low Power and Digital Electronics.
- Knowledge on use and operation of Variable Frequency Drives.
- Familiarity with Oil and Gas Automation applications and the associated equipment.
- Sponsorship is not available for this position.
- On-site presence at our Missouri City, Texas facility is a requirement for this position.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or better in Engineering or related field.
- 5 years’ experience with AutoCAD and Altium Design Software
- 5 years’ experience with Electrical Engineering/Design
