Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to support their email marketing efforts using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and/or Market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coding, testing, scheduling, and reporting on email campaigns that align with their marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Development:

  • Code responsive HTML/CSS emails from Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD designs.
  • Ensure cross-client and cross-device compatibility (e.g., Outlook, Gmail, iOS).
  • Use AMPscript (SFMC) or tokens/velocity scripting (Marketo) for personalization and dynamic content.

Campaign Execution:

  • Build and test email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Marketo.
  • Set up segmentation, automation workflows, and triggers.
  • Manage email QA and approvals before scheduling and deployment.

Data & Personalization:

  • Work with marketing teams to use audience data for dynamic content and personalization.
  • Sync and manage lead/contact data across CRM and marketing platforms.

Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and other KPIs.
  • Analyze results and optimize based on performance metrics.

Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Ensure all emails comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other privacy regulations.
  • Stay current with email marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in HTML/CSS for email development.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (AMPscript, Journey Builder, Email Studio) and Marketo (Smart Campaigns, Lead Scoring, Tokens).
  • Familiarity with email testing tools (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid).

Marketing Automation:

  • Solid understanding of segmentation, lead nurturing, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Knowledge of CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce CRM & Marketo CRM).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and QA skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with marketing and design teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketo Certified Expert.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript or SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with A/B testing and email optimization strategies.
