Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of artificial lift solutions, helping oil and gas operators maximize production through expertly engineered gas lift and plunger lift systems. With a focus on innovation, quality, and field-proven performance, they support energy operations across the U.S. We are seeking a QA Inspector to become an integral part of their team in Fort Worth, TX!

Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug screening as a requirement for these positions.

Requirements/Duties

  • Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Use a variety of precision inspection and measurement tools to examine materials and finished products, primarily machined components.
  • Perform calibration of machine shop inspection tools and equipment in accordance with quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections on incoming materials from suppliers and outgoing machined parts and assemblies before delivery or further processing.
  • Verify adherence to established quality assurance procedures throughout each phase of the manufacturing process.
  • Accurately document quality issues and track corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to improve product quality and process consistency.
  • Assist in developing and implementing inspection protocols, process checklists, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide training and support to manufacturing teams on quality control standards and inspection techniques.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of quality assurance experience required; 5+ years strongly preferred.
  • Valid and current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification preferred.
  • Experience within the Oil & Gas industry or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Prior experience inspecting machined components and assemblies highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using machine shop inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and surface plates.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and standing for 8+ hours per shift.
  • Strong attention to detail with basic math and computer skills required.
  • Must possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a high sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow and relay instructions clearly in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and report quality data with accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
