Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Process data using Python, PySpark, and Databricks
- Develop purchase propensity models and product recommendation models
- Learn the job while performing hands-on analytics and modeling
- Help business partners make more profitable decisions based on customer and prospect insights
Working Conditions:
Minimum Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience in data analysis or related field
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with statistical software and database languages
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using data science to improve customer experience and business profitability
- Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline
- Proficiency in Python packages such as PySpark, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, Matplotlib, and lifelines
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of methods such as frequentist statistics, Bayesian statistics, forecasting, optimization, causal inference, machine learning, and natural language processing
- Proficiency with version control
- Experience with reading and writing data in S3
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates across functions with strong skills in persuasive and informative speaking
