Job Description
Our client is looking for an Operations Supervisors to join their growing team in the Corpus Christi, TX area. They provide natural gas compression equipment and services to customers globally in the Oil & Gas, Power, Transportation, and Marine sectors.
Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening as a requirement for these positions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of a job shop repair facility, ensuring efficiency and safety
- Supervise mechanics and machinists; hire, train, and evaluate staff
- Manage shop equipment, budgets, materials, logistics, and workflow
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and health regulations
- Develop and enforce shop procedures and operational standards
- Handle customer orders from proposal to delivery, including pricing, scope, and communication
- Collaborate with Sales to align commercial strategies with business goals
- Drive performance to meet financial, utilization, and productivity targets
- Resolve operational issues and implement improvements
- Provide administrative and back-office support as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in natural gas compression, oil & gas services, or field operations management
- 3+ years of management experience
- Strong knowledge of natural gas compression equipment, maintenance practices, and safety standards
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Effective communication (oral and written)
- Ability to lead small teams and influence others
- Initiative-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Customer-focused, dependable, and team-oriented
- Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency
- Six Sigma certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in outdoor environments, travel to various field locations, and perform physical tasks related to equipment inspections and operations.
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment as needed, and perform hands-on tasks as necessary.
