They are looking to add a Shop Manager to join their team in Hobbs, NM. This opportunity is a Direct Hire role that comes with several perks including full benefits, paid holidays, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of products and services to meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize productivity to minimize downtime.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a workforce capable of achieving organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Enforce compliance of all branch personnel regarding administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, required training, and industry regulations.
  • Develop and manage the budget for the shop ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization and savings.
  • Work with the Operations Manager and Finance team to ensure accurate P&L reporting and forecasts to track performance against targets.
  • Communicate regularly with HSE regarding safety and training needs required by customers and/or suppliers, and ensure standards are met.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to remain competitive in the market.

Requirements

  • Education and Training: High School education or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by management
  • Technical Requirements: In-depth knowledge of the oil & gas industry, specifically downhole pumps. Computer literate, able to perform required duties on standard and company-specific programs. Strong management and customer service skills, and the ability to work well with people. Ability to manage time and resources efficiently.


Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening as a requirement for this position.
