We are in search of a seasoned Security Professional to offer security assistance to various clients who support both the Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Defense (DoD), each of which has distinct security demands related to the classified programs they back. The ideal candidate should demonstrate robust critical thinking abilities and the capacity to independently assess and address security-related issues with discretion. Our client represents a security services firm that delivers security support to numerous clients within the IC and DoD realms.

Must Have's:

  •  MUST possess and maintain a U.S. TOP SECRET Personnel Security Clearance with
  • SCI Access Eligibility.
  • CI Polygraph within the last 5 years
  • Minimum of 4 years of applicable Facility Security Officer (FSO) / Contract Program
  • Security Officer (CPSO) experience working with the Defense Counterintelligence &
  • Security Agency (DCSA) and other government agencies across the IC.
  •  Bachelor’s degree (or applicable experience).
  • Current FSO Certification for Possessing Facilities.
  • Working knowledge of NISS and DISS (NBIS) government systems.
  • Working knowledge of processing via Talon.
  • As the CPSO provides sound guidance to Customer-cleared employees, based on the
  • requirements under 32 CFR Part 117 – NISPOM Rule, Intelligence Community Directives and any other customer regulations regarding personnel and security reporting requirements.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal laws, Presidential Directives, Executive
  • Orders, Intelligence Community Directives, and 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM Rule.
  • Full competency with the use of MS Office.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including working well with groups made up of disparate organizations and various grade levels; takes direction; and functions independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Present a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
  • Have no physical/medical limitations related to the work assigned.
  • Ability to travel in the DC Metro area with (75% travel throughout northern Virginia:
  • 25% travel to other domestic locations). Limit remote opportunities.
  • Be reliable and deliver quality results with limited supervision but in a team environment.

  • NCMS ISP® Certification.
  • Current CSSO Certification
  • COMSEC Account Manager certification
