Looking for a talented and self-motivated software engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining software for machine controls and novel electro-mechanical systems from concept to production.

Job Duties:

  • Design and implement complex C++ Realtime code for industrial control systems.
  • Design and implement GUI interfaces and controls in C#.
  • Test and evaluate new interface and IO systems as needed to support our requirements.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality.

Skills/Qualifications: 

Required:

  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).
  • Experience developing code, primarily in C/C++, for realtime systems.
  • Experience developing C# code to interface to embedded realtime code in C++, including GUI development, ideally using C#/WPF.
  • Capability to independently set up test systems (hardware and software, including logic analyzers, scopes, etc) to test developed code.
  • Understanding of typical concepts in Industrial Automation, including Failsafe, local & remote digital and analog I/O, timing, sampling, etc.
  • Experience with software configuration management and source control systems (such as Azure DevOps/Git)
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

 Strongly Desired:

  • Experience with SQL-type database systems and formulating queries.
  • Experience with RTOS systems like IntervalZero RTX or similar.
  • Experience programming and interfacing with PLC systems, such as Beckhoff.
  • Background in, or solid understanding of Mechatronics and interfacing concepts.
  • Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing.

 Education/Experience:

Required:

  • BS. degree in Software, Mechanical, Electrical, or related.
  • 5+ years experience in related fields

  • MS. degree preferred
